5GRAIL project kicked off during partners meeting on 27 November

5GRAIL project kick-off meeting took place on 27 November. Due to the ongoing sanitary crisis, the meeting was held digitally to ensure the safety of all participants. The meeting was attended by representatives from all project partners as well as the European Commission to discuss the successful launch of the new project. In their opening speeches, François Davenne, Director General of UIC and Philippe Citroën, Director General of UNIFE, highlighted the importance of 5G solutions in rail as enablers for green and digital rail system and the strong partnership between all project members to bring this technology forward.
