During the conference, project partners will showcase what the project has achieved since its launch in November 2020 and how it will help deliver the Future Railways Mobile Communication System (FRMCS), which will be a crucial enabler for the GSM-R replacement as well as for the much-needed railway digitalization, covering aspects like automated train operation, remote monitoring and surveillance of vehicle elements, telemetry, and more.
The conference will start at 09:30 and will include presentations that will uncover aspects from the prototype of the TOBA Box (Telecom On-Board Architecture) and the field tests amongst others. You will also get an understanding of how the prototype testing has directly impacted the work on the 5G FRMCS specifications. The Conference participants will have the chance to ask questions or details from the presenters. The event is expected to close at 16:30.
Join us for this unique opportunity to learn more about the project and to network with all the participants coming across Europe, together with the 18 partners of 5GRAIL, representing rail manufacturers, railways and universities.
